MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073525 A) filed by Evoqua Water Technologies Llc, Pittsburgh, on Aug. 1, for 'treatment of organic containing wastewater using modified fenton's reagent.'

Inventor(s) include Sassaman, Frank, L; Mccloskey, Charles, J; and Henline, Kyle, Marie.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method for removing one or more azoles from wastewater of a semiconductor production facility includes obtaining copper from the wastewater and introducing an oxidizer into the wastewater to produce hydroxyl radicals from the oxidizer to react with the one or more azoles, wherein the copper catalyzes the production of the hydroxyl radicals from the oxidizer."

The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 01, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/013924.
