According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides composition and method of treating or preventing an ischemic optic neuropathy with gene therapy vectors that deliver nucleic acid sequences encoding octamer-binding transcription factor 4 (OCT4), sex determining region Y)-box 2 (SOX2), and Kruppel-like factor 4 (KLF4). In particular, non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) may be treated or prevented."
