MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011162 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'trash raking device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Byomakesh Dash.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A trash raking device, comprises of a pair of telescopic rod 101 configured with a ball and socket joint 102 for providing angle movement of the rod 101 as per preference of a user, a rectangular plate 103 having multiple pop-out balls 104 having holes attached with a bottom end of the rod 101 by means of a telescopic bar 105 for raking of garbage, a slider 106 mounted on the rod 101 configured with multiple rigid wires 107 extending through the holes to creating a diverging pattern for raking of garbage, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 108 installed on the rod 101 determine dimensions of the garbage to be raked, and a triangular frame 201 having a plurality of clamps 202 attached at bottom end of the rod, behind the bar, by means of a hinge 203, for holding a bag for collecting raked garbage."
