Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Transmission Method For Uplink Phase Tracking Reference Signal (PTRS) And Communication Apparatus' Filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517084959 A) filed by Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Sept. 8, for 'transmission method for uplink phase tracking reference signal (ptrs) and communication apparatus.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a transmission method for uplink phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) and a communication apparatus, applicable to mobile communication technology. The method comprises: under the configuration of uplink simultaneous transmission across multiple panels (STxMP), when a PUSCH is scheduled for non-codebook-based SDM transmission, determining an uplink PTRS transmission parameter on the basis of received configuration information, wherein the PTRS transmission parameter comprises the number of actual sending ports of the PTRS and a DMRS port actually associated with each PTRS port, and different PTRS ports are associated with different DMRS ports; and on the basis of an uplink PTRS transmission parameter, sending a PTRS to a network device, thereby achieving reliable transmission of the PTRS."
