Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Transmission And Reception Of Sidelink Positioning Reference Signal' Filed by Panasonic Intellectual Property Corporation Of America

MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517092998 A) filed by Panasonic Intellectual Property Corporation Of America, Torrance, U.S.A.e, on Sept. 27, for 'transmission and reception of sidelink positioning reference signal.'

Inventor(s) include Kang, Yang; Suzuki, Hidetoshi; Tran, Xuan Tuong; and Sim, Hong Cheng, Michael.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides communication apparatuses and communication methods for transmission and reception of Sidelink Positioning Reference Signal (SL-PRS). The communication apparatuses include a communication apparatus comprising: circuitry, which in operation, generates a SL-PRS; and a transmitter, which in operation, transmits the SL-PRS based on a signaling."
