MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019719 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'transformer cooling assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Usama Uddin; and Aishwary Awasthi.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A transformer cooling assistive device, encompasses an extendable frame 1 placed near the transformer, a wireless computing unit associated with device allows user commands to secure the frame 1 to the transformer, a camera 2 on frame 1 measures the transformer radiator's dimensions, allowing a built-in microcontroller to adjust the size of frame 1, a speaker 3 prompts the user to position the frame 1 correctly with multiple motorized clamps 4 with rods to grip the transformer securely, multiple curved members 5, initially aligned, adjust via motorized pivot joints 6 to allow surrounding wind to cool the radiator, a temperature sensor detects overheating, an anemometer 7 measures wind speed and multiple air blowers 8 on the frame 1 cool the transformer, preventing any damage to the transformer due to overheating."
