The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Transdermal Patch Formulation for Enhanced Delivery of Rivaroxaba using solvent casting technique using a 23-factorial design encompassing two levels and three factors factorial design; using polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP K30) and hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC E50) as hydrophilic polymer, propylene glycol as a plasticizer and permeation enhancer. Propylene glycol increases the release of rivaroxaban as it permeates the membrane. Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC E50) is highly soluble. Thus, Rivaroxaban transdermal patch is a suitable transdermal drug delivery system."
