MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411022627 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 22 for 'traffic management system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A traffic management system, comprising a body 1 configured with plurality of motorized clamps 2 developed to be fixed on poles of traffic lights, an ultrasonic sensor mapped on the body 1 detects dimensions of the pole, an artificial intelligence-based image capturing unit 3 mapped on the body 1 for capturing and processing multiple images of people passing through road, a display panel 4 mapped on the body 1 to notify the violator, and a holographic projection unit 5 mapped on the body 1 projects a beam of light over the violator."
