MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024819 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'tractor turning system for narrow spaces.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Jayant Ku. Nath.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tractor turning system for narrow spaces comprising frame 101 developed to be installed on tractor to fetch ignition status of tractor, touch interactive display panel associated with system, and installed on tractor's dashboard accessed by driver to provide input for turning tractor at single-axis, imaging unit 102 is installed on frame 101 capturing multiple images in vicinity of frame 101 to determine turning space around tractor, pair of guiding rails 103 assembled with wheel 104, installed on lateral sides of frame 101, wherein hydraulic piston 105 is arranged with wheel 104 and connected to frame's 101 upper portion that is actuated to extend/retract for positioning wheel 104 onto ground surface beneath frame 101 and DC (Direct Current) motor 106 installed with wheel 104 that is actuated to rotate for providing clockwise/anti-clockwise movement to wheel 104 for facilitating tractor's ability to turn in either direction."
