MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531024832 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 19, for 'tractor hood cloth installation assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Pragyan Paramita Pattnaik.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tractor hood cloth installation assistive device comprises of a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface near a tractor with multiple motorized wheels 102 for autonomous movement, a touch interactive display panel 103 for user input commands regarding cloth installation and color specification, a microcontroller linked to the display panel 103, an imaging unit 104 is configured over the platform 101 for capturing and processing images to detect the tractor's hood dimensions, a multiple spools 105 of stretchable cloth in various colors, a motorized grippers 106 provided on platform 101 to stretch the cloth, an inverted L-shaped telescopic bar 107 integrated with a sewing unit 112 for stitching, a dust sensor to detect dust and activate a motorized disc 108 with bristles 110 for cleaning, a corrosion sensor synced with imaging unit 104 for detecting corrosion and notifying user if corrosion is detected to provide efficient installation."
