MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511125078 A) filed by Thapar Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab, on Dec. 11, 2025, for 'trace: temperature-related assessment for concrete evaluation using deep learning.'

The method employs and processes crack images using a convolutional neural network (CNN) for feature extraction and classification of fire-affected structures. The results are integrated to comprehensively assess the quality and effectiveness of concrete crack repair methods using data fusion algorithms or machine learning techniques."
