According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a tower-based GSM and LoRa integrated smart automation system (100) for remote monitoring and control of agricultural and village-level services. The system (100) comprises a LoRa receiver (102) positioned at one or more field devices such as agricultural motor starters, drones, and water control units, a LoRa transmitter (104) installed at a communication tower, a GSM module (106) for long-range connectivity, an ESP32 module (108) functioning as a middleware for data processing and protocol conversion, and a mobile application (110) for user interaction. Data transmitted from the mobile app (110) is processed by the GSM module (106) and the ESP32 module (108) and then delivered through the LoRa transmitter (104) to the field devices. Operational feedback from the devices is returned via the same path, enabling real-time, bidirectional, and cost-free control of agricultural equipment, water systems, and public utilities across rural regions."
