MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521059465 A) filed by Biologic Products Private Limited, Pune, Maharashtra, on June 20, for 'topical herbal treatment for the psoriasis of the oral mucosa.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Bhawsar Sonali Devdatta; Mr. Bhawsar Devdatta Kamalakar; and Mr. Bhawsar Siddharth Devdatta.
The application for the patent was published on July 11, under issue no. 28/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses three types of topical therapeutic herbal formulations: a pastille, an ointment, and an oral rinse for the treatment and management of oral mucosal psoriasis. These three versatile topical medicines are phytoformulations consisting of extracts derived from selected medicinal plants."
