MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019183 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'tool storage device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tool storage device, comprising a hollow cylindrical body 101 positioned on a fixed surface and installed with a cylindrical member 201 attached with multiple curved-shaped plates 202, each of plates 202 is arranged with multiple hooks 203 for allowing a user to hang multiple tools, an imaging unit 204 determines one of plates 202 stored with tool, a BLDC (Brushless Direct Current) motor coupled with member 201, for rotating member 201 to position determined plates 202 in front of an opening carved on body 101, which is initially covered with a curved-shaped flap, two motorized sliding units 205 arranged near opening and attached with flap, for translating flap to uncover opening, a laser projection unit 206 installed within body 101, for projecting a laser beam on user-defined tool, thus guiding user to accessing correct tool from body 101."
