MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414080621 A) filed by Tungaloy Corporation, Fukushima, Japan, on Oct. 23, 2024, for 'tool body and rotary cutting tool.'
Inventor(s) include Aso, Takahiro; and Saji, Ryuichi.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a tool body that is rotated around a central axis, with a central part thereof being assembled onto an arbor, in which the tool body includes a plurality of recessed parts provided circumferentially between the central part and an outer peripheral part, as viewed from the front side opposite to an assembly side with respect to the arbor, and the recessed parts are each formed so as to have a cross-sectional shape that is gradually narrowed in a depth direction."
