MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011195 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'tire repairing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Tapaswinee Das.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tire repairing device, comprising a rectangular base 101 having four telescopic rods 102 provided with motorized omnidirectional wheels 103 for locomotion of base 101, two telescopic grippers 104 grip a tire on base 101, an L-shaped telescopic arm 105 via a primary ball and socket joint 106, have a cutting blade 107 to cut damaged portion of tread of tire, an L-shaped telescopic link 108 via a secondary ball and socket joint 109, having a motorized grinding wheel 110 to grinds cut portion of tire, an imaging unit 111, determines damaged tread portion of tire, an L-shaped telescopic member 112 via a tertiary ball and socket joint 113, having a clamp 114 to fetch a rubber piece from a chamber 115, an L-shaped telescopic bar 116 via a quaternary ball and socket joint 117, having a heating element 118 for boding and repairing of tire."
