MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441016716 A) filed by Larsen & Toubro Limited, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, on March 8, 2024, for 'tire curing press.'
Inventor(s) include Ganesh Raja Karuppusamy; Ashokkumar Manikandan; Prabhu Mani; Vigneshwaran Gunasundaram; Srikanth Jagannathan; Santhosh Kumar Duraisamy; Suresh Rajendran; Vignesh Chandrasekaran; Danie V M; and Adnala Ruchita.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tire curing press includes a bottom structure (2) and a top structure (1) capable of moving axially with respect to the bottom structure and being locked at different positions. A tire mold with mold height includes an upper mold (53) and a lower mold (54). An upper mold adapter (34) is mounted to the top structure (1). A heating vessel arrangement includes a top inner heating vessel (35) connected to the mold adapter (34) and a top outer heating vessel (36) axially aligned to the top inner heating vessel (35) and configured to slide relative to the top inner heating vessel (35). A bottom heating vessel (37) is mounted on the bottom structure (2), axially aligned to the top outer heating vessel. The lower mold (53) is connected to the bottom heating vessel (37). The position of the top outer heating vessel (36) is variable for different mold heights."
