MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537092451 A) filed by Beijing Roborock Innovation Technology Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Sept. 26, for 'three-dimensional color map construction method and apparatus, storage medium and electronic device.'
Inventor(s) include Niu, Chenyu; Wang, Tiandong; Zhang, Xiaobin; and Wu, Erqi.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed in the present application are a three-dimensional color map construction method and apparatus, a storage medium and an electronic device. The method comprises: acquiring at least one three-dimensional object model, and acquiring a three-dimensional blank scene; and placing the three-dimensional object model in the three-dimensional blank scene, and coloring the three-dimensional object model to obtain a three-dimensional color map. The method of the present application solves the problem in the prior art of maps created by mobile smart devices being not visual enough."
The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 19, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/139819.
