MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202348055470 A) filed by Boe Technology Group Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Aug. 18, 2023, for 'thin film transistor, gate row driving circuit and array substrate.'

Inventor(s) include Wang, Lizhong; Ning, Ce; Hu, Hehe; Zhou, Tianmin; and Song, Jipeng.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a thin film transistor, a GOA circuit and an array substrate, the thin film transistor comprising: A source electrode (100), including a source electrode wiring (110) and a plurality of source electrode branches (120); a drain electrode (200), including a drain electrode wiring (210) and a plurality of drain electrode branches (220); a gate (300); a semiconductor layer (400) comprising a plurality of semiconductor branches (410); wherein the plurality of source electrode branches (120) and the plurality of drain electrode branches (220) are in contact with the plurality of semiconductor branches (410) and are divided into a plurality of cells (10); the source electrode wiring (110) and the drain electrode wiring (210) are arranged in a parallel and spaced apart, and the number m of one of the source electrode wiring (110) and the drain electrode wiring (210) is an integer greater than or equal to 2, and the number n of the other is an integer greater than or equal to 1; the plurality of cells (10) are arranged into at least two cell lines (1), the source electrode branch (120) in each cell line (1) is connected to the same source electrode wiring (110), and the drain electrode branch in each cell line (1) is connected to the same drain electrode wiring (210). The thin film transistor, GOA circuit, and array substrate provided by the present disclosure solve the problem of heat accumulation caused by a high film transistor source and drain branch arrangement."
