MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517079246 A) filed by First Person Solutions, Llc, Pennsylvania, U.S.A., on Aug. 21, for 'thimerosol formulation for viral inhibition.'

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The technology relates to the use of a formulation for inhibiting a coronavirus or to treat, prevent, or reduce the risk of infection by the coronavirus, or reduce a symptom of long- covid. The formulation comprises thimerosol, and optionally one or any combination of additional compounds selected from tinocordofolin, cordifolioside A, cordioside, berberine, syringin, tinocordioside, jateroine, jatrorrhizine, magnoflorine, 20-hydroxy ecdysone, and palmatine. The formulation may further comprise piperine."
