MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517072421 A) filed by Lg Chem, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on July 30, for 'thermoplastic resin composition.'
Inventor(s) include Choi, Jeong Su; Lee, Won Seok; Lee, Roo Da; Park, Sang Hoo; Lee, Jong Ju; and Hwang, Hee Dong.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin composition. The thermoplastic resin composition comprises: a graft polymer comprising rubber and a shell, which is grafted onto the rubber and comprises a vinyl aromatic monomer unit and a vinyl cyanide-based monomer unit; and a non-graft polymer comprising a vinyl aromatic monomer unit and a vinyl cyanide-based monomer unit, wherein the rubber is natural rubber or a rubber mixture that comprises natural rubber and synthetic rubber, and the amount of biomass, measured by ASTM D6866, is 20.0-50.0 wt%."
