MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511104554 A) filed by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Oct. 29, 2025, for 'thermally actuated rf switching apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Mr Himanshu Nagpal; and Arnav Verma.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a thermally actuated RF switching apparatus (100) for selective conduction of radio frequency signals, comprising a support frame (102) configured to provide structural retention, a bimetallic arm (104) fixed at a first end to said support frame (102) and disposed with a free end extending therefrom, a conductive contact bridge (106) carried on said free end of said bimetallic arm (104) and aligned with a signal trace (108), and a biasing spring (110) operatively coupled between said support frame (102) and said free end, said bimetallic arm (104) being configured to deflect under thermal expansion against said biasing spring (110) so as to compel said contact bridge (106) into engagement with said signal trace (108)."
