Inventor(s) include Dr Shivani Fotedar; Dr Arun Fotedar; Shiveesh Fotedar; Riteeka Sapru; and Dr Sowmya Kr.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a therapeutic nipple-eversion system insertable within a supportive brassiere. The system comprises a compliant cup body formed from a biocompatible elastomer and defining an interior negative-pressure chamber. A basal actuation assembly is positioned at a central region of the compliant cup body. The basal actuation assembly comprises a threaded negative-pressure actuator arranged to retract a portion of the compliant cup body toward the basal actuation assembly upon rotational advancement to generate a controlled negative pressure. An internal pressure-distribution structure having multiple petal-shaped flexible elements is disposed on an inner surface of the compliant cup body to distribute negative-pressure loading across a nipple-areola region. A deformable contouring section is integrally formed with the compliant cup body to conform to breast geometry and maintain positional stability within the supportive brassiere. The system enables controlled, comfortable, and repeatable therapeutic nipple eversion."
