MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517003320 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Jan. 15, for 'terminal structure for secondary battery, and secondary battery having same.'
Inventor(s) include Bok, Cheon Hee; and Sung, Joo Hwan.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The disclosed invention relates to a terminal structure for a secondary battery and, in one embodiment, comprises: a first conductive member having a protrusion with a circular cross section; and a second conductive member having a through-hole into which the protrusion of the first member is inserted, wherein the protrusion of the first member is inserted into the through-hole of the second member so that a welded part is formed along circular edges coming in contact with each other."
