MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097214 A) filed by Ntt, Inc., Tokyo, on Oct. 8, for 'terminal device, sharing access point, shared access point, and wireless communication method.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In one aspect of the present invention, a terminal device wirelessly communicates with an access point system that includes a sharing access point and a plurality of shared access points having different physical locations. This terminal device comprises: a communication unit that includes a plurality of terminal wireless stations and wirelessly communicates with the plurality of shared access points using the plurality of terminal wireless stations; and a management unit that establishes a multi-AP connection, which is a comprehensive wireless connection between the sharing access point and the terminal device, and manages which of a plurality of wireless links included in the established multi-AP connection is to be used for communication with the access point system."
