MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073555 A) filed by Panasonic Intellectual Property Corporation Of America, Torrance, U.S.A., on Aug. 1, for 'terminal, base station, communication method, and integrated circuit.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In the present invention, a signal is appropriately transmitted in an uplink. A terminal according to the present invention is provided with: a control circuit that, in communication in which a plurality of frequency bands are used, determines information related to surplus power of an uplink in a first frequency band of the plurality of frequency bands, on the basis of a transmission waveform of the first frequency band and a transmission waveform of a second frequency band different from the first frequency band of the plurality of frequency bands; and a transmission circuit that transmits the information related to the surplus power."
