MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311086916 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Dec. 19, 2023, for 'tension adjustment device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention discloses a frame stand (132) of a vehicle (100). The frame stand includes a first resilient member (214) and a tension adjustment device (200). The tension adjustment device includes at least one first guide shaft (302) including a securing means (312) and a second resilient member (326). The tension adjustment device includes a tension adjusting member (316). The tension adjusting member includes an aperture (318), a second resilient member (326), and at least one engagement portion (328). The first resilient member is removably engaged to the at least one engagement portion. The tension adjustment device includes at least one second guide shaft (322). The tension adjusting member is operated between an engaged condition (402) and a disengaged condition (404) due to elastic deformation of the second resilient member, thereby allowing the tension adjusting member to be rotatably operated for adjusting the tension of the first resilient member."
