MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202347052186 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on Aug. 3, 2023, for 'temperature-monitoring device.'
Inventor(s) include Endo Hirotaka; Takasu Kojiro; Edamatsu Shigeki; and Kuramochi Yuka.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 5, under issue no. 36/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A management server (28), which is a temperature-monitoring device (10), monitors the temperature of a battery (14) that is removably attached to an apparatus (16). The management server (28) includes: a server-side acquisition unit (70) that acquires the temperature of the battery (14) when the battery (14) is not in use after discharging electricity to the apparatus (16); and a determination process unit (72) that performs a temperature determination process for determining whether or not the temperature while the battery is not in use is in a predetermined temperature range (WR). The determination process unit (72) excludes, from items on which the temperature determination process is to be performed, the temperature during an initial period from when the non-use of the battery has started to when a predetermined condition is satisfied."
