MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541120990 A) filed by Kalasalingam Academy Of Research And Education, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 3, 2025, for 'tea glass hot tub immersal cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. S. Shasi Anand; and Dr. P. Jayakumar.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The titled invention discloses a tea glass hot tub immersal cleaning device to safely and efficiently immerse and wash multiple glasses using hot water. The system consists of a hot tub (2) equipped with an induction heater (6), a perforated lifting tray (3) for holding the glasses, and a floating glass pusher pad (8) that ensures complete immersion during cleaning. A spring pad (7) positioned at the bottom of the tub absorbs impact, protects the glasses from breakage, and supports upward lifting. The enclosure cabin (1) collects residual tea dust, while an external temperature control panel (10) allows precise water-temperature adjustment. A drain outlet (11) enables easy removal of dirty water, making the overall cleaning process more efficient, safer, faster, and more convenient for the user."
