MUMBAI, India, April 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647042186 A) filed by Mitsui Kinzoku Company, Limited, Tokyo, on April 2, for 'tantalic acid compound dispersion and method for producing same.'

Inventor(s) include Miura Takashi; Motono Ryuji; and Hara Syuhei.

The application for the patent was published on April 17, under issue no. 16/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tantalic acid compound dispersion according to the present invention contains: tantalum; at least one element X selected from the group consisting of alkali metal elements and alkaline earth metal elements; and a phosphorus compound and/or a chlorine compound. The tantalic acid compound dispersion has a particle diameter (D50) of at most 1000 nm as obtained by a dynamic light scattering method. An other tantalic acid compound dispersion according to the present invention contains: tantalum; at least one element X selected from the group consisting of alkali metal elements and/or alkaline earth metal elements; and a phosphorus compound and/or a chlorine compound. The tantalic acid compound dispersion has a maximum value of at least 70%T for transmittance in the wavelength range of 400-760 nm."

The patent application was internationally filed on Sept. 03, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/031529.
