MUMBAI, India, June 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517049940 A) filed by Robert Bosch Gmbh, Stuttgart, Germany, on May 23, for 'tank system for a hydrogen-powered vehicle, fuel cell assembly, hydrogen internal combustion engine system, fuel cell-powered vehicle, hydrogen-powered vehicle.'

Inventor(s) include Giersch, Dominik.

The application for the patent was published on June 13, under issue no. 24/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a tank system (1) for a hydrogen-powered vehicle, wherein the tank system (1) comprises at least two tank containers (2) for storing a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, a frame-like housing element (24) and a supply line (4) that can be connected to the tank containers (2). The frame-like housing element (24) surrounds the at least two tank containers (2) and the supply line (4), wherein the at least two tank containers (2) extend parallel to a longitudinal axis (9) of the tank system (1). Each of the at least two tank containers (2) is connected to the frame-like housing element (24) by means of a flexible bearing (35) and a fixed bearing (36). Furthermore, the flexible bearing (35) comprises a bearing bushing element (50), which bearing bushing element (50) comprises layers of an elastomer-like material (40) and layers of a rigid material (41)."
