MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059045 A) filed by I. G. B. S. R. L., Milano, Italy, on June 19, for 'tamper-evident container.'
Inventor(s) include Bressan, Michel; Bressan, Alessio; and Gandolla, Alberto.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a tamper-evident container (1) comprising: a storage (2) for housing at least one product, a closure system (7) placed at a passage opening (5) of the storage (2) and configured to occlude said passage opening to define a closed condition of the container (1). The closure system comprises an inserting portion (10) engaged, and at least partially facing, a first coupling portion (12) that can be coupled to a second coupling portion (13) to lock of the container. At least one of the closure system, the storage, the first coupling portion and the second coupling portion comprises a weakening configured to allow the first and/or second coupling portions to break."
