MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441021094 A) filed by Flipkart Internet Private Limited, Bengaluru, Karnataka, on March 20, 2024, for 'systems and methods for managing multi-order picking of items.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system (150) and a method for managing multi-order picking of one or more items. The system (150) includes one or more sensors (108) configured to detect a weight of the one or more items during placement of the one or more items inside the one or more partitions (106). The system (150) includes a verification module (110) configured to continuously detect anomalies associated with each of the one or more items during transport of the one or more items from the source location to the destination location, and a display (112) operatively connected to the verification module (110) to display information associated with the one or more items."
