MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311085700 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Dec. 15, 2023, for 'systems and methods for managing inputs of an electronic pen in a connected environment.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method (1200) for identifying actions to be performed by an electronic pen in a connected environment (400) is disclosed. The method comprises determining (1202) at least one electronic pen being used to perform an action around the plurality of connected devices. Further, the method comprises determining (1204), based on one or more parameters, a type of the action among a plurality of types of actions to be performed on one of the plurality of connected devices. Furthermore, in response to determining the type of action, the method comprises identifying (1206) a desired device on which the determined type of the action is to be performed. Additionally, the method comprises discarding (1208), at the master device, the one or more actions and passing, by the master device, instructions for allowing the command to be executed on the at least one slave device to execute an air action."
