MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547068203 A) filed by TTM Technologies North America, Inc., Santa Ana, U.S.A., on July 17, for 'systems and methods for baluns optimized for wideband balanced properties.'

Inventor(s) include Mei, Chong; and Eldaiki, Omar.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A balun circuit addresses the balun bandwidth problem using a symmetrical amplitude splitting network and a phase delay network for conversion of a single-ended signal to a differential signal. As the balancing properties of the balun circuit are guaranteed in a very wide bandwidth, other performance properties such as impedance matching and insertion loss which can also limit the operating bandwidth, can be addressed separately with the full attention without the concerns of phase and amplitude balance. The balun circuit divides the single-ended signal into a four-path differential signal through a symmetric network and applies phase inversion by twisting the polarities of each differential path to reduce the complexity, size and loss of the overall balun of the balun circuit."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 21, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/085487.
