MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517046058 A) filed by Okulo Limited, Bristol, U.K., on May 13, for 'systems and methods for assessing visuo-cognitive function.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A computer-implemented method for assessing at least one aspect of a user's visuo-cognitive function, the method comprising presenting a plurality of stimuli on a display screen of a handheld computing device, detecting a response, or a lack of response, from the user to the plurality of stimuli, determining at least one attribute associated with the user's responses, wherein each attribute is indicative of a level of difficulty associated with seeing or processing the plurality of stimuli, and recording the at least one attribute to enable an assessment of at least one aspect of a user's visuo-cognitive function."
