MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517058349 A) filed by Stryker Corporation; and Stryker European Operations Limited, Kalamazoo, U.S.A., on June 18, for 'systems and methods associated with selection and deployment of neurovascular devices.'
Inventor(s) include Chettiar, Lakshmanan; Padmanabhan, Sreekanth; Perumal, Venkateswaran; and Raja, Jayendiran.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An example method includes: receiving images of a vessel having an aneurysm captured by an image-capture device; reconstructing using the images, the vessel to generate a model of the vessel; determining taking foreshortening effect into consideration, a final length of a stent when the stent is deployed inside the model of the vessel to divert flow from the aneury sm; visually presenting a display of the stent deployed within the model of the vessel; and providing parameters of the stent including apposition and pore density of the stent."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 11, 2024, under International application No.PCT/US2024/011191.
