MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517042348 A) filed by Raydiant Oximetry, Inc., San Ramon, U.S.A., on May 1, for 'systems, devices, and methods for determining a fetal oximetry value using an in vivo fetal oximetry model and/or an augmented in vivo fetal oximetry model.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A physiological indicator for a pregnant mammal and/or her fetus may be used to augment and/or personalize a fetal oximetry model to the pregnant mammal, the fetus, and/or the pregnant mammal/fetus pair. Light transmission data that corresponds to and/or represents a composite of light that passes through the pregnant mammal's abdomen and the fetus may be received and input into the augmented fetal in vivo fetal oximetry model. An output from the augmented fetal in vivo fetal oximetry model that includes an indication of an oximetry value and/or wellness for the fetus may be generated and/or received."
The patent application was internationally filed on Oct. 11, 2023, under International application No.PCT/US2023/034961.
