Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'System To Represent Fractional Numbers And Method Thereof' Filed by IIMT College of Engineering

MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511114708 A) filed by IIMT College of Engineering, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Nov. 20, 2025, for 'system to represent fractional numbers and method thereof.'

Inventor(s) include Mr. Satya Pal Singh; and Dr. Ajay Kumar Sahu.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed is a system (100) to represent fractional numbers, the system (100) comprising: an input unit (102) configured to receive prompt from a user; a processor (104) coupled to the input unit (102), and configured to process the prompt such that the prompt is analysed to determine fractional number from the prompt, wherein the processor (104) is further configured to manipulate the fractional numbers with improved accuracy and optimization capabilities; an output unit (106) coupled to the processor (104), and configured to represent the fraction numbers corresponding to the prompt from the user."
