MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511134055 A) filed by Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute Of Technology, Jalandhar, Punjab, on Dec. 31, 2025, for 'system for wrist-pulse diagnostics.'
Inventor(s) include Sachin Kumar; Dr Karan Veer; and Dr Sanjeev Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100) for wrist-pulse diagnostics is disclosed. Further, system (100) comprises a frame (102) configured to accommodate a user's wrist. Further frame (102) comprises a first portion (102A) and a second portion (102B). Further the first portion (102A) comprises a plurality of primary structure (104) while the second portion (102B) comprises a plurality of secondary structure (108). Further, the primary structure (104) transmit force applied by user to three radial artery palpation points of wrist. Further a force sensing module (106) measures one or more primary parameters i.e. force on the wrist. Further a pulse sensing module (110) configured to acquire one or more secondary parameters from three radial artery palpation points of wrist. Further, at least one processor (112) processes the one or more primary and secondary parameters and transmits to an external computing device (118) for diagnostic interpretation."
