MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421029358 A) filed by Kavirise Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Maharashtra, on July 11, 2024, for 'system for optimizing spacial alignment between charging pads to improve charging efficiency in electric vehicles.'

Inventor(s) include Kavita Kiran Prasad.

The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100) is disclosed for optimizing spatial alignment between a transmitter pad (102) and a receiver pad (104) to enhance wireless power transfer efficiency in electric vehicle charging. The system (100) comprises the transmitter pad (102) and the receiver pad (104) on a mobile platform. The mobile platform includes a base frame (106) and a carriage assembly (108) supporting the receiver pad (104). A vertical actuation unit (110) enables controlled Z-axis movement, with a vertical scale (112) and scale pointer (114) providing visual Z-axis displacement. A set of omni-wheels (118A-B) coupled to rotational encoders (126A-B) tracks X-Y plane movement. A microcontroller (122) receives encoder signals for X-Y displacement, computes Z-axis displacement from the scale (112) and pointer (114), and correlates this spatial data with wireless charging performance parameters to determine the optimum spatial configuration which initiates charging by activating the transmitter pad (102)."
