Inventor(s) include Mr. Kiran Pal Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100) and method (200) for monitoring utility consumption of electricity, gas, or water are disclosed. The system (100) includes a meter device (102) configured to acquire real-time consumption data and a processor (106). The processor (106) analyzes consumption data to identify usage patterns, detect abnormal consumption, and determine peak usage periods. The processor (106) adjusts data collection frequency and reporting intervals, generates alerts for threshold violations or unusual consumption, and transmits data, alerts, and historical consumption records to a remote utility management platform. The system (100) enables display of consumption trends, alerts, and historical usage on a user interface accessible through a computing device (104). The processor (106) implements dynamic pricing models, integrates with renewable energy sources, detects leaks or faults, maintains configurable data retention, enables over-air updates to the meter device (102), and generates personalized energy-saving recommendations."
