MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441021319 A) filed by Tvs Motor Company Limited, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on March 20, 2024, for 'system for monitoring riding behaviour of a user of a vehicle and method thereof.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Present invention relates to a system (100) for monitoring riding behaviour of a user of a vehicle. The system (100) includes a control unit (102) which is communicatively connected to one or more sensors (104) and the vehicle sensors (106). The control unit (102) receives a user data related to the user. The control unit (102) is adapted to determine a user profile corresponding to the user based on the user data. The control unit (102) receives vehicle parameters and compare the vehicle parameters with predetermined parameters. The control unit (102) determines the riding behaviour of the user based on the comparison of vehicle parameters to the predetermined parameters. The control unit (102) provides at least one of reward points and one or more penalty points to the user profile, corresponding to the determined riding behaviour of the user, thereby monitoring riding behaviour of the user."
