Inventor(s) include Dr. Priyanka Bansal; Dr. Monika Garg; Mr. Aleshwaram Vamshi Teja; Dr. Vimlesh Singh; Dr. Amrinder Kaur; and Dr. Geeta Nijhawan.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure provides a system for monitoring and enhancing concentration during a study session. The system comprises an electroencephalography sensing unit arranged to acquire brainwave signals of a user, a signal acquisition unit operatively coupled with the electroencephalography sensing unit and structured to amplify and digitize the brainwave signals, a processing unit operatively coupled with the signal acquisition unit and configured to filter the digital signals, reject artifacts, extract spectral features, classify the spectral features to determine concentration and distraction states, initiate generation of binaural-beat audio signals in response to detection of a distraction state persisting for a predetermined threshold duration, and adapt parameters of the binaural-beat audio signals based on the acquired brainwave signals to establish a closed-loop feedback operation, and an audio feedback unit operatively coupled with the processing unit and arranged to deliver the binaural-beat audio signals to the user."
