MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521117624 A) filed by Castnx Private Limited, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on Nov. 26, 2025, for 'system for load-testing of industrial high-power converters.'
Inventor(s) include Seal, Monojit; Gurjer, Lokesh; and Modi, Manoj.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 9, under issue no. 02/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a system (100) for load-testing of industrial high-power converters using low grid power. The system (100) includes two three-phase voltage source inverters (VSIs) (102, 108) interconnected via a DC bus (110) with intermediate energy buffering. The system (100) operates without the need for bulky isolation transformers or mechanical load banks. The system (100) uses a two-loop control mechanism for bidirectional regulation of both active and reactive power flows between a power grid and device under test. The system (100) ensures that only device losses are drawn from the power grid, substantially reducing total energy consumption and test costs."
