MUMBAI, India, May 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621042884 A) filed by Sage University, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, on April 3, for 'system for hybrid processing of signals and user response for stress level identification and analysis.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Prashant Jain; Prof. Priya Sen; Prof. Vijay Malviya; and Asmit Pal.
The application for the patent was published on May 29, under issue no. 22/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a hybrid-based system for stress level identification and analysis. The system (100) includes a body signal input interface (102) that acquires physiological signals (202), and a user input interface (104) that receives questionnaire responses (204) corresponding to psychological stress indicators concurrently with the physiological signals (202). A control circuit (106) computes a composite stress index (206) representing a quantified stress level expressed as a percentage value, based on both the physiological signals (202) and questionnaire responses (204). The control circuit (106) determines the composite stress index (206) as one of a plurality of graduated stress states and generates personalized stress management recommendations (208) accordingly. The composite stress index (206) and recommendations (208) are transmitted to a recommendation interface (108), enabling real-time stress awareness and management intervention. The hybrid approach combining physiological and psychological inputs provides accurate, comprehensive stress assessment."
