MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514003095 A) filed by Ermo, Zone Artisanale, Marcille-la-Ville, France, on Jan. 14, for 'system for fitting together two parts with checking system.'

Inventor(s) include Lascoup Bertrand; and Del Nevo Maurizio.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a fitting-together system (200) for fitting together two parts (50a-b) and comprising a thumbwheel (202) having an axis of revolution (202a) and coming into abutment on the second part (50b) to fitted on the first part (50a), two lever arms (204a-b) able to rotate about a rotation axis (206) offset with respect to said axis of revolution (202a), at least one force sensor (208) secured to an element of the fitting- together system (200) and arranged to emit an electrical value proportional to the deformation suffered when said thumbwheel (202) rests on the second part (50b), and a control unit (80) connected to said at least one force sensor (208) and arranged to compare the electrical value with a predefined interval of values."
