The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system (100) for determining the presence of a non-operative local control means in a convoy of vehicles (C) is described. The system (100) comprises a convoy communication line that comprises, for each vehicle, a respective local control means (110), a resistive load (R) arranged to be connected to a first line section (104), and an electrical power generation means (124) arranged to supply a predetermined voltage value to a second line section (106). Each local control means installed in a respective vehicle, in response to receiving an activation signal and when powered by power supply means, is arranged to: - measure a current value (I) provided by the electrical power generation means (124) to the line second (106) of said respective vehicle; - determine that at least the vehicle directly connected in series to the second line section (106) of said respective vehicle has a local control means (110) which is not operative, according to the measured current value, the predetermined voltage value and the predetermined resistance value of the resistive loads (R)."

The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/IB2024/050338.
