MUMBAI, India, Jan. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511102482 A) filed by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, on Oct. 24, 2025, for 'system for automated poultry production management.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system for automated poultry production management comprises, a plurality of monitoring and sensing means 101 including IoT module and sensors configured to collect real-time data related to poultry activity, environmental conditions, and health status, a machine learning and deep learning module 102 trained to analyze collected data for task-specific predictions including chicken activity monitoring, farm weather control, weight prediction, and early disease identification, a control unit 103 operatively connected to farm automation components for implementing management actions based on outputs from the machine learning and deep learning module 102, a decision module 104 configured to dynamically adjust operation parameters and resource deployment within the poultry production environment in response to analyzed data and predictions, the system enhances poultry management efficiency, improves public health safety, reduces labor cost, and mitigates risks of cross-infection."
