MUMBAI, India, Feb. 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611001460 A) filed by Mayoor School, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, on Jan. 6, for 'system for automated attendance management.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A system for automated attendance management, comprising a camera module configured to capture an image of individuals in response to receiving a capture command from a user interface, a preview module to generate and display a preview of the captured image and retrieve a digital signature from an external application programming interface (API), a cloud storage module to upload and store the captured image in a remote storage location, a database module to create a database record associated with the captured image, a backend processing module to initiate facial recognition operations on the captured image in response to creation of the database record, a facial recognition module to detect and identify faces in the captured image, a status management module to determine the database record status and, a dashboard module to update and display attendance data to the user in real time."
